AJax to starting lineup

"The sample sizes are tiny, but the Bucks have been dreadful when Trent has been on the court and have outscored their opponents in Jackson’s minutes."

I hadn't heard much about Andre. Good news!

I'll have to check out the start of the game. Two 1-6 teams, that's what League Pass is made for.

Bucks twitter loving him right now. nice early plays

He is playing pretty well to start the game, though his one miss was pretty ugly. Still super active on both ends.

Andre does everything not shown in the box score. But today his impact is being shown in the box score, and that's the key to staying in the rotation. Great 1st quarter from AJax so far
Had the best +/- on Bucks in 1st. Apparently AJax went to bench in favor of Trent, and a 2 pt lead turned into a 10 point deficit within 5 minutes.

I just checked the box score from early in the 3rd. All the Bucks' starters have positive +/-. All the reserves are negative. If the starters could only play the whole game.

Imagine if he came back for his junior year like he was thinking
Hypothetical here, but swap Andre for Newton and Castle runs the point. That would’ve been crazy to watch.

It was but he had mentioned the legit possiblity of returning

Portis and Trent are both really bad. Portis scored 19 in 27 minutes with 6 rebounds and was still only +2. Bucks D is atrocious

From an ESPN story:

"He brings energy," Antetokounmpo said of Jackson's presence in the starting lineup. "He plays his a** off, guards the best player. We play faster. He was incredible today. We definitely need that. We need that spark. We need to play with that energy."
In today's NBA, an endorsement from the team superstar is huge. The only downside fo his play is that it makes Doc look good. But Doc was smart enough to have his first start against the lowly Jazz.
