Anyone remember Iowa State's Royce White and the way he demolished Shabazz, Drummond, J Lamb and Co. in the tourney in 2012? I think that's a good comp for AJ to shoot for: Royce White with better hops. I think he'll get there once the game slows down a little for him.

Interesting comp, I can see some similarities. As you pointed out, AJ’s got a little more finesse in his game.

Royce White was 6-8 and 270 with a low post/back to the basket game at Iowa St. I don't see any resemblance to AJ's game.

That dude was 2 inches taller and double his weight. It's hard to give him a comp right now because his skills are still a work in progress. But he does have a really nice floater like Lamb did

Don’t make comps just for the sake of making comps. AJ is a unicorn to me in terms of comparisons, especially with former UConn players. I think he actually may end up running the offense more than RJ, which might bod well for us letting RJ spot up and be a secondary creator while AJ find the open man, drives and kicks, etc.

He's closer to Harold Miner than Royce White and I am NOT saying Harold Miner is a comp. To get to Royce territory he'd have to gain a 1/4 person and have a back to the basket game.

Didn’t see this until now, so sorry if it’s already been posted, but Andre got some nice love on BR Hoops IG after the game on Wednesday, with some nice comments from Mikey Williams and Jordan Schultz.
