Thanks for sharing. Looks like a fun family location. I’m curious now if other Yarders own & rent too.

How do you tackle cleaning up bedding n cottage after a stay. Do you use a service or have take care of yourself?

I live about an hour away from Dayville (in Cromwell).
My wife handles the cleaning since she is a teacher and off for the summer.
We added a $50 "Cleaning Fee" to basically cover gas for the trip back and forth.
Part of the investment in settng this up was to buy 2 of everything so there is always a rotation of towels and linens that we include with the place. She goes up, collects what''s there, puts new stuff out and bring the used stuff home to wash.
Rinse/Repeat

We don't have a washer or dryer up there and have sometimes used a local laundry mat who you either feed quarters to in large machines or drop it off and they have it ready the next day.

At some point a service might help but so far we haven't looked into it.
