More than I would've thought...shooting specialist Bria Hartley will definitely see some playing time...a real insider's view for the fans...!

You know the flak I took for my little OT grammarian thing? That article was not a chat board post. No proof reading? No editing? No fact check? Probably a libertarian.

How many factual errors can one piece contain?
Wow that was a poorly written as anything I've read in awhile. Including posts on the Boneyard.

Yikes -- Moriah looks tiny next to KML.

And note that Geno sat between UConn's two shortest players.

And -- I love Shea's smile. She should display it more often.
Did you notice how skinny Heather's legs are? And those short-shorts? Shocking!

Honestly, I took your OT grammar post to be a piece of sly humor, in the style of El Zorro. Now you tell me it was serious.

You just ruined my day.

You noticed I didn't give you any...people who live in glass houses etc... ;)

You just ruined my day. If your day can be do easily ruined I will look into finding a Big Brither for you, look into a day at the zoo or maybe getting UConn to join the conference of your choice.

The poor writing of the linked piece influenced the OP when he titled this thread about the game "tommorrow."

Folks, here's the trick with Examiner.com. It's not a newspaper or a regular online news source. Or, at least, it does not seem to have a professional staff. At least if it works there the way it works here in Metro Phoenix, it allows just about anyone with an interest in a subject to become an "examiner" of that subject for the local audience.

We get a lot of college students who become "examiners," and the writing shows it. This one is about par for the course, from what I've seen of the product here. I run PR for an organization that gets "examined" from time to time, and it's a real treat, let me tell you.

And remember -- since they are not pros, there is no real editing. As long as it's not libelous, it's okay with them.

That article was better, TCat, except for getting the starting 5 wrong. I'll be in Naples finishing up capturing the President's Lacrosse Tournament (the women) with a Hi-Pod aerial cam, but will watch it as soon as the archive is available on SNY streaming...Go Huskies!

I actually commented using my Facebook account, pointing out several of the errors. That comment (and the ability to comment) seems to be missing now, but some or all of the errors I pointed out have been corrected.
