Lmao, it’s obvious insinuated at their best? No.
He said add one former player to this roster.
I'm adding Clingan over Okafor and over everyone else. We would be looking at a four-peat if he was still here. He doesn't get penalized because he was too good to stay in college after two seasons.
First you completely change what he said and claimed that's what he said. Now it's obviously insinuated.Lmao, it’s obvious insinuated at their best?
You think he was referring to Freshman year Kemba or Adama?
You’re insanely hyperbolic, and also very obviously have recency bias.First you completely change what he said and claimed that's what he said. Now it's obviously insinuated.
He said "Add one former player to this roster."
I'm talking Clingan without any hesitation. My second choice would probably be Castle.
I love Clingan but it's a little misleading to quote his per 40 minute stats when he averaged 13 and 22mpg at UConn, respectively. And the biggest thing holding him back in the NBA last season was that he wasn't in NBA game shape (20mpg in Portland and he gets gassed).Clingan per 40 minutes his freshman season- 21.1 pts, 17.1 rebs, 5.5 blocks, 1.4 assists, 1.3 steals
Okafor per 40 minutes his freshman season- 10.5 pts, 12 rebs, 5.4 blocks, 1.1 assists, 1 steals
Clingan per 40 minutes his sophomore season- 23.1 pts, 13.1 rebs, 4.4 blocks, 2.7 assists, .9 steals
Okafor per 40 minutes his sophomore season- 19.3 pts, 13.6 rebs, 5.7 blocks, .7 assists, 1.1 steals
#'s don't tell the story on Clingan, he was a human wall defensively. Players simply didn't challenge him. I didn't think I would ever see a more dominant defensive player at UConn than Okafor but Clingan was just that. If he stayed for a third season he would've three-peated in his three college seasons.
Don't use words you don't understand and don't change the topic. You’re insanely hyperbolic, and also very obviously have recency bias.
All good!
The minutes his sophomore year are a little skewed because he got hurt vs. Hall and then didn't play a full load for a bit after he came back. Plus, the team was so dominant that there was rarely any need to play him more than 25 minutes. At his size he was never going to be able to give you 35+ minutes, but I think he could've given you 28-30 without too much trouble if he needed to.I love Clingan but it's a little misleading to quote his per 40 minute stats when he averaged 13 and 22mpg at UConn, respectively. Clingan was so effective because we had two change of pace centers... Adama and Samson. Had he played more minutes his per40 stats would have suffered severely.
I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what happened. I voted Kemba because of guard play and his ability to take over a game but Emeka was 1bHave we forgotten how great Emeka was? He averaged 4.3 blocks per game for his career, and was able to stay on the court for 30+ mpg because he didn't foul. He was also a go-to scorer in the way that Clingan never was.
Love Clingan, but he's second at best.
Castle second choice LOLDon't use words you don't understand and don't change the topic.
You tend to do this a lot.

Some people clearly missed the assignment. The question posed was which former player would you ADD to this team.
