She said she has offers from Illinois, Indiana, Louisville, Notre Dame, Purdue, and Vanderbilt, and added she’s been talking to UConn, Duke, Kentucky, and Stanford. Young attended the UConn-Louisville game at the KFC Yum! Center in March and was hanging around near the Huskies’ locker room area afterwards.
She had a conversation with UConn coach Geno Auriemma prior to the trials and planned to talk with him again later this week. She also has been speaking with assistant coach Marisa Moseley.
“I’m going to visit, probably an unofficial visit first,” Young said. “I’d like to play an uptempo game and I’d like to see how I would fit in.”
