Adamec: UConn against ???? in the Maggie Dixon Classic

Is this 'new news'? In today's Journal Inquirer Carl reports that UConn will play at MSG next December
in the Maggie Dixon Classic. Opponent is uncertain...looks like Kentucky is trying to work out their
SEC schedule to play the best program in the land. Also...home and home with Nebraska starting next year
here...then out there. I do remember Geno taking the mike after our regionals out there and praising
the crowd and atmosphere in Lincoln.

I would have thought Mitchell would want a break for his Wildcats from the Huskies! The Nebraska home and home is a cool addition to the schedule.

I think the MDC organizers would love UConn to play in it every year because of the attention and fan support. The only years UConn hasn't been one of the four teams is when the date conflicts with UConn's final exams.
