The weather? It's 45 degrees! :)
Snow storm on the way. People driving back to Connecticut will be in midst of the snow tonight(at least, that's what the weather people say).

The link is to Carl's blog on the game. Kiah Gillespie is off to a good start for Maryland...she went to Capital
Prep in Hartford. Seems some teams don't want to play at MSG...or is it that they don't want to play UConn?

Hope the weather doesn't hold down the crowd.
Quotes by Brenda Freese in today's newspaper about the game tonight....."I think I have always had the mentality here that to be the best you have to play the best."
Brenda says she also wants Meriden's Kiah Gillespie to get a chance to play near "home."

What snow storm? There's a chance of rain tonight and maybe it'll mix with sleet or snow at the start.

Drive up to northern Litchfield County after the game is over.

Once again, no mention of Natalie Butler.
I'm really hoping for a redshirt at this point... I think we win the NC without her and I'd rather have her for 3 more years after this one.

Once again, mention of Willis Reed's heroics in game 7 vs. the Lakers but no mention of Walt Frazier. ;)

Maybe Clyde will be at the Garden so Katie Lou can meet the real big game star that night. ;)

Since she's already sat out a year, wouldn't that have to be a medical redshirt?

Yes. I believe a scholar-athlete has 6 years to complete their 4 years eligibility. She had 1 year redshirt for transferring. She can have 1 more year redshirt if she has a medical reason that is accepted by the NCAA (players can't just say "I was injured" - I think the NCAA has to review - should be a slam dunk in this situation though)...

Thought she had been "medically cleared to play" a couple weeks ago. Regardless, she would need to be medically unable to play for the whole season I think.

You have five years to use your four years of eligibility. One of the years was wasted on the transfer rule. Getting a sixth year would be near impossible as they aren't granted very often, and you'd have to find a doctor that would sign off on the injury as being season ending which might be tough given her "medically cleared" status.

Not a bad line. Clyde was incredible.

Not a bad line. Clyde was incredible.

To quote the late ESPN anchor Stuart Scott, Clyde "was as cool as the other side of the pillow", and smooth as a baby's cheek. And never showed any emotion either.

Clyde the glide. Number 10 in your program, number 1 in your heart!
