Sarah Veilleux...RHAM senior....has been named to the Parade Magazine AA squad...one of 20 seniors.
She averaged over 34 points/14 rebounds/5 blocks, 3 steals and 2 assists per game. Sarah is a 6' guard.
I can't find the link in today's JI where Carl's article is located. Fantastic accomplishment by Sarah.
She is headed to St. Joseph's in Philly. I hope she helps St. Joe's make some noise in the A-10 and get in the tourney over the next four years.
It's interesting that Sarah makes this big time national team but was beaten out by Kiah Gillespie [junior] of Cap Prep for Gatorade POY in the state.
I have no idea what other schools had interest in Sarah.
