Adamec: Geno tosses some praise to Kayla Alexander

It was a few days ago in Carl's column. Geno said something to the effect that Syracuse's Kayla had improved tremendously over her college career....and mentioned that the BE had 3 of the best centers in the land....clearly including Kayla and Stef....and I am not sure who else he was referring to....he didn't name her. Who might that be?

When Kayla heard his take on her game she tracked him down to offer a 'thank you'...touch of class by her.

She is a senior.....I would think she would go in the first round of the WNBA draft?

I told Kayla what he said in the presser and she was stunned, so excited to hear.

I think she could be a lottery pick. Great WNBA body, just needs to rebound more.

Both Alexander and Achonwa should help Canada continue its climb in international basketball.

Alexander said she arrived at Syracuse just hoping to contribute. She leaves as the all-time career scoring leader. Great accomplishment for someone who sounds like a nice kid.
