Adamec: CD is happy about a new hire!

I recall reading a story that said when CD played for Teresa at Rutgers she made copies of all the practice schedules they were given as she clearly had her future occupation in mind.

This put a smile on my face too. As many of you know, I been a fan of WCBB since the way back olden days before title 9 existed and the sky was sepia, not the wonderful blue we know today. The first team I settled on was Rutgers in Coach Grentz's first year.

While some my disagree, I found her to be clever, funny, decent, a skilled motivator, a wonderful teacher, a disciplinarian, and irreverent... she grew up in Philly, played for Immaculata, and coached an Olympic team... Does some of that sound familiar? Luckily, I found Geno and UConn during those last years Coach G had at Rutgers as I just could never warm to CVS's style of play.
