2017 verbals Lexi and Andra among 35 invited to USABasketball tryouts for 17U team
May 26-30 in Colorado Springs. There may be as many as 150 who show up....most of them paying their own way. June 22-July 2... 17U world championships in Spain.

18U tryouts overlap...May 27-31. 18U FIBA championships July 13-17 in Chile.
Crystal will be there....as well as 2017 target Megan Walker. Sounds a bit like Megan is 'playing up'
to be on this list?

Lexi has made a big leap in her game and I'm hopeful she will make the team. E-H too, of course, but I'm hoping she's a lock already.

I agree Rocky. Lexi paid her own way last time as she was not invited. As it turned out, she was one of the lats 4 cut when taking the team from 16 to 12. If her game has continued to improve, I have high hopes that she and Andra will both make the team this year. We have a really good pair already committed.

Megan Walker, like Napheesa before her, is too old to be in the under 17 group. That is why she didn't participate in USA basketball last year when the U16 and U19 teams were the only option. That age cutoff distinction happens frequently.
