The other choices were Gay or Roy. Roy was great but also more or less retired. Gay should have been the pick, even if he hasn't been an Allstar.

I remember watching that Gonzaga/MSU game where Morrison and Maurice Ager went off for like 40+ pts each. That was an epic battle. Then UConn won the next night

It seems to me that Reddick worked much harder on his game, and almost more importantly, becoming stronger and more fit to be able to take on the bigger and stronger guards in the NBA. Morrison, on the other hand, obviously did not. I never liked either of them, but give Reddick credit where it's due - he's had a solid NBA career.
