If ABC/ESPN spends 12 consecutive years (through 2036) damaging their own asset (the ACC) to bargain down its renewal price, they're not someone I want for a business partner
Agree. The kind of business partner who would do that is the kind of business partner who would fund the hostile acquisition of key pieces of their broadcast partner just because they turned down a lowball renewal option. I mean, what kind of monsters would do that?
