Mea culpa-shame on me for doubting her! Based on her results this year, the roster review @triaddukefan assessed and the recruiting overview @Dillon77 gave, I concur, she's no longer "a dead man walking" and should be safe plus she's probably going to get a WNIT bid-win a few games there and voila!
Now if they could only improve their attendance...

While in theory, I am at work, my casual viewing on SLING shows significantly more people at the SECT vs. ACCT

Those land grant schools . I'm sure the hokie section was howling after the game. I don't wanna go near there message board for awhile.

Attendance at the morning session was 6,357.

Syracuse eliminates UVA 67-50. First higher seed to win so far. Should make for an interesting matchup between the Orange and the Cardinals tomorrow at 2.

Gonna make for a looooooooooooooooooooooooooong day tomorrow at the Coliseum........ gonna be loaded up on a combination of 5 hour energy, Sprite, and Famous Amos Chocolate Chip cookies

Didnt expect a Tech-Pitt and BC-Syracuse double header this evening, but at least I will be entertained by two of the three best ACC Fight Songs and Mascots.

This evening Fox Sports Carolinas has disappeared from my YouTube TV channel list. It was the channel broadcasting the ACC Tournament.
I then tried the Fox Sports Go app and the Pitt/GT game is not available for viewing.

Oh, I still have Fox Sports Southeast available in the channel list and they are going to broadcast the Hornet's game.

I am not sure. The article says that YouTubeTV will keep 19 of the 21 RSNs and listed some, but not all, of the 19. However, Fox Sports Carolinas was not listed. I am going to have to find the complete list of the 19.

I assume Antonelli will be on the call for the ACC semi's and final. Thats one upside to attending the games in person.... I wont have to listen to her.... especially if Duke makes the weekend.

a few observations and thoughts from the day.

Clemson needs to burn those purple uniforms. Some teams can wear Purple well.... like High Point.... but it looks hideous on Clemson.

Every team with a bye..... came to watch the game of the teams they would be facing the next day..... VPI was at the Tar heel-Wake game.. Florida State was watching the VPI-Wake game.... and so on. I was interested to see if Duke would show up to watch the nitecap.... they did not. Just Coach McCallie and 2 assistants.

These early days are a war of attrition for the fans. One of the Louisville fan beside me remarked how she isnt used to watching a game this late... unless she was at home in her pajamas... her and her husband left after the first quarter of the nitecap. The VPI fans beside me.... stayed til halftime...... on and on. Tomorrow will be more of the same.

The ACC does a really good job of improving the tournament every few years. In 2018.... they added the live in house DJ. This year they expanded the ACC Fan Fest... pretty much doubled its size just by moving it from the Special Events Center to the Exhibition Halls. Thats one advantage of the Greensboro Coliseum.... the Events Center, Exhibition Halls, and Arena are all under one roof.

BC scored on an uncontested layup in the closing seconds instead of merely running out the clock.... one Clemson fan took offense and yelled out "Thats Garbage".... he was heated...... he was mumbling some other stuff..... surely not family friendly. Those rowdy Land Grant fans

The bigger question - how is this going to affect the new SNY (UConn bball games) and Fox Sports/Sinclair. With YouTube TV picking and choosing which Sinclair RSNs will be available where, how will UConn WBB be available Nationally? Hopefully the SNY contract is with Fox Sports (FS1, FS2) and the SNY games will show up there and not on a RSN...

@Centerstream you're a YouTube TV person let me ask you and others if they have noticed this phenomenon, at least to me, when tuning in to any channel. I have noticed when I press the ok button for the channel I want, it always seems I have to sit through about 5 minutes worth of commercials before the actual show comes on to the point of sometimes forgetting what show I wanted to watch. The only thing I can figure out, YouTube TV is making money right from the top.

The good news is we have another day of basketball, the bad news is how many of these games will Antonelli be announcing. Fortunately, I have no dog in this hunt but man o' man does her blabbering make my ears hurt and always has me wondering what are some of the opposing teams fans thinking when she obviously keeps touting one team over another? Good luck today all you non-Louisville and non-NC State fans, try watching with the volume off...
