Are any of the Louisville fans talking about how this affects their seeding/placement? Or are they too preoccupied with the game?

They were talking about Fort Wayne before the game.. I ain't gonna ask them about it now.. They really are hurting

I asked a fan.. And he was asking if I thought they would drop to a three seed. I tried to reassure them that they are safe as a two

I feel bad for the card fans.. And I was hoping for a all red final... But it will be fun tomorrow as Florida state has never cut down the acc nets.. And nc state hasn't since 1991. Of course Boston College hasn't won either

No offense to Boston College, but Duke would have put up more of a battle than this

Hopefully this will fuel them to make a deep NCAA run.

Sorry no I meant Duke. Hopefully the sting of the loss serves as extra motivation.

Not where Duke will be seeded. I was hoping a acc title would get us to the 6 line........ we are probably a 8 or 9 now... I'd rather be a 11 or 12 seed than an 8/9

Duke has an outside shot at a 7. Remember too that the committee can bump a team up or down a line for procedural reasons. There’s hope yet...

But yeah, rather ironic that the reward for being safely in the tournament as an 8/9 is to get sent to a potential 2nd round slaughter. As opposed to teams that barely sneak in as an 11/12. I think the 11 is the best spot for a dark horse run. Kinda like when Central Michigan and Buffalo a couple years ago stormed to the Sweet 16.

Creme seems to be of the opinion Louisville will still get sent to Ft. Wayne. I don't see UConn leaping both Louisville and Maryland to get a #1 Seed to get to Ft. Wayne. At this juncture, UConn's best path to Ft. Wayne is probably hoping that Stanford or UCLA snatch the Pac-12 and then Maryland stumbles against Indiana in the Semi-Finals and they leap over Maryland for the #1 Seed. I don't see UConn leaping Maryland even if Maryland stumbles to Indiana.

If State doesnt turn the coliseum into a see of red..... imma be severely disappointed. It would have been interesting if it would have been Louisville vs State.......

I dont see why they wouldn't. Like the fan i talked with yesterday concerning the regionals.... The NCAA likes to make money... and they would probably make more with Louisville there.

NC State fans are hungry for a championship in at least one of the major sports. As I documented a few weeks ago, it has been 40 years since a conference championship in football, 33 years for men's basketball, 29 years in WBB and 28 years in baseball. State fans travel well. I, too, will be disappointed if the crowd tomorrow isn't wearing mostly red to see our drought of conference championships in these four major sports possibly end.

ETA: I should have said "later today". Like, in 9 hours. Why am I up so late????

I think NC State secured their spot in Greenville by at least reaching the ACCT Final. With South Carolina and NC State both in Greenville, attendance should be quite high at that regional, regardless of the other two teams who make it to the regional round. (Of course...NC State will have to survive the opening weekend...and that is not assured given their up-and-down play in the last month).

They had a sign in the Coliseum reminding people to move your clocks ahead... but they didnt make any announcements reminging people during the game. Hopefully your wolfpack brethren remember :p

@LETTERL just passed by Debbie Yow in the concourse. Someone stopped her to speak, Yow said she was fine, but nervous. Alot of nervous red fans here.

Kiah Gillespie just jogged onto the court with the rest of the team. Seemed to be moving fine.
