The last time that the ACC didn't have an NCAAT Final Four participant was 2021 (unless we've acquired Stanford's history).
If there's a sliver of hope, I guess we can point out that their best player (Dunn) still hasn't entered.GT with a coaching change and now losing Carnegie and Morgan in the portal.
Yes she has entered the portal too.If there's a sliver of hope, I guess we can point out that their best player (Dunn) still hasn't entered.
Congrats to Zoe for this invitation to Plum's guard camp.
Indeed she has!Yes she has entered the portal too.
I love how they call it the Atlanta area...it is an full hour away from Atlanta....@triaddukefan did you see this? Greensboro will need a new nickname next year

ACC moving women's tourney to Atlanta area in 2026
The Atlantic Coast Conference women's basketball tournament will move from its longtime home in North Carolina to the Atlanta area in 2026, the league announced Thursday.www.espn.com
That sounds similar to what how areas outside of Toronto are lumped into the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), even if it's over an hour away.I love how they call it the Atlanta area...it is an full hour away from Atlanta....

At least you still have a conference at this point? Better to lose some talent than have an entire conference up and disappear. I'm not still bitter...Man I tell ya... between graduation and transfers, the ACC is hemorrhaging talent. I haven't done a count, but I bet the majority of the All-ACC team won;t be playing in the ACC next season.![]()

Yup--I brought this up before this past season re Kiki Iriafen/Stanford (I guess you could say the same for Georgia Amoore/VT). This season, IMO, has been worse in terms of graduations and transfers out of the conference. The stars are leaving at an alarming rate. Outside of Hannah, there are no real stars returning.Man I tell ya... between graduation and transfers, the ACC is hemorrhaging talent. That's kind of like saying, "sure you lost your job and your house, but at least you aren't dead yet."At least you still have a conference at this point? Better to lose some talent than have an entire conference up and disappear. I'm not still bitter...![]()

Damn. Fifty percent gone from the conference for next season. Will need to review the list to see how many are graduating this year. Offhand, Sonia Citron comes to mind. Pretty sure James from NC State is in that category too.Out of the 15 members of the All-ACC first team. 4 return. Hidalgo. Fournier, Zoe Brooks, and Kymora Johnson of UVA. Of the 10 on the second team... Ashlon Jackson, Taj Roberts (Louisville), Kelly of Chapel Hill...and Agara of Stanford.
Good for Meghin (going back to her home state)! Megan Duffy spoke highly of her last season. She should do well in her new role.Cal hires a GM for WBB. Guess needed now in this new NIL/ portal world: https://bearinsider.com/s/4534/meghin-williams-named-womens-basketball-general-manager/4
Rivers and James both were seniors and graduating. Utsby from UNC as well.Damn. Fifty percent gone from the conference for next season. So based on that, that would be 4 out of the 15 who graduated. That leave us with 7 transfering out of the conference. Approximately 50%. Again, dangRivers and James both were seniors and graduating. Utsby from UNC as well.
One thing I’m hoping for is that Kara Dunn is merely swapping ACC teams and ends up in Raleigh![]()

Yikes--this is horrible. There's not enough talent returning to the conference (and not enough entering the conference to offset the losses). Hannah is Hannah and Toby has potential, but the rest? Big yikes--zero star power (unless you like crash outs in red or blue-clad players who can't lead their team to 20 wins in two tries already). The Big East has more star power than this! I believe that the SEC has more returning talent (even accounting for the voters' snub of the Vanderbilt forward) and are set to bring in more top end talent from the ACC.Out of the 15 members of the All-ACC first team. 4 return. Hidalgo. Fournier, Zoe Brooks, and Kymora Johnson of UVA. Of the 10 on the second team... Ashlon Jackson, Taj Roberts (Louisville), Kelly of Chapel Hill...and Agara of Stanford.

Bold means they are staying put (as far as I can tell at the moment). Red means transferring. Green means graduated.
By my count 13 of the 25 on 1st and 2nd team exhausted eligibility.
Of the 12 who could be back 7 are coming back (as of now) and 5 are leaving.
Losing almost half of your best returning players obviously is not ideal! I think 2 can easily be explained as Morgan and Dunn had a coaching change take place. Miles and Latson are the ones that really hurt the conference because not only are they all conference types, arguably they are first team all American types.
