Tony, I hope UConn doesn't have to prove it in the tournament. I am with Nan on this one, ND has the best front court in the nation and more importantly we don't match up well with them.

It’s true. The problem last game was that Citron defends Paige quite well. I think we matchup well enough otherwise if Azzi plays. I mean, Hannah can be ‘contained,’ though not if she’s shooting 70% from 3 and we’re shooting 15%. But with Azzi on the floor, I think the equation would have been somewhat different. Miles can’t stay with Azzi at her best any better than Kaitlyn and KK can stay with Hannah. Aggressive help defense is key for ND, and it’s not clear who Hannah or Olivia or Soni could cheat off in that case.

But yes, without Azzi and Aubrey, and once Westbeld returns, I don’t think this will be a good game for us.

I think if Azzi plays, along with Shade, Paige, Sarah and Ice, we are the better team, especially on a neutral or home court. Or at least our starting five.
