About last night. Yes, i agree its probably a blow out loss a year or two ago but the last 3 games have been fun. I can’t recall 3 consecutive UCONN games in the past few years that were this interesting. At the end of the day unfortunately the same old ugly head rears up and you lose in a devastating boneheaded fashion. It felt like watching my daughters high school volleyball game. You know the ones where they are serving the ball into the net, or hitting the ball out 10 feet beyond the line and add up all of these mistakes and you just gave away 15 points. This team has to limit these bonehead decisions or this is what happens. Unfortunately, Close isn’t good enough for UCONN. This should have been a W. Plain and simple and the coaching staff should not accept less. I read Hurley talked about eliminating accepting losing when taking this job and it’s a big attitude adjustment for the players.
