OT: ABC's of Music

I think I have @meyers7 to thank for finding this band, I like quite a few of their songs.

Walk Like That

First song, first album from Blondie: X-Offender.

From Hair: Three Five Zero Zero

WARNING: contains some bad words (It's from Hair)

A Satisfied Mind

I know Gram Parson's solo work (well not really solo because most of it is dueting w/ Emmylou Harris) and his time w/ The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers. I just recently stumbled on an earlier project, International Submarine Band. Quite a bit of similarity between his various musical enterprises.

Black Hole

This song is a little generic, but she has a nice voice. Brand new single from her.

If you got nothing to do next weekend (8/23-25), they along with a lot of other really good bands (The Trews, Alert the Medic, The Sheepdogs, The Glorious Sons, One Bad Son, Monster Truck) are playing in a festival in Truro, Nova Scotia. "Rock the Hub".

.-.
"In the Court of the Crimson King" from who else but King Crimson.

I’m going to be a hog and take both L & M. Melanie was one of only three women to perform solo at Woodstock. You probably know the other two and can post when an appropriate letter comes up. Lay Down was written by Melanie after performing at Woodstock.

N will be for Nils Lofgren and the great tune "White Lies":

O is for Offspring

Gone Away - The Offspring
