OK - Now that we are back to the beginning of the alphabet it's time to up our game. Time to offer up Double Plays -- this will handle A & B; next up something that handles C and D.

My offering -- the inspirational "I'd rather be an Acorn" - By the Backyardigans.

You folks have entirely lost the play book! The damn song has to start with the letter, not the artist, not the record label, not the lead instrumentalist!!! And even then you all seem to have forgotten the alphabet!

OOOOO... dang it.

Ok, here's the dealio. You have to pay a little attention. 1st post has to have song or artist start with "A"

From the OP. Sorry Rocky, you have been overruled. Artist name is perfectly legal. I agree about forgetting the alphabet though.

"Her Majesty" from the Beatles

Excellent timing Ozimoto. Today is the 50th anniversary of that famous photo that became the cover of their final album.
On 8 August 1969, one of the most-imitated events in pop music history occurred.
The Beatles - George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and John Lennon - gathered for a brief photoshoot outside the EMI Studios in London, where the band was working.
Iain Macmillan took the rather modest shot of the musicians on a zebra crossing on the B507 road, an image which would adorn the cover of the band's Abbey Road album.
