But staying vertical was an issue for her last year. I think that working on her balance and footwork, and on establishing a solid base down low, should be her off-season priorities.

Aaliyah is growing up. Maturing right before our eyes. Giving us a different look. To be honest, I would not have recognized her in this photo without help. I’ve never seen her without the braids. It's becoming. Will she keep this look during the season? We’ll see.

I was kinda upset when Svet let her cute little, short hair grow out. Growing up? Yes. Better? A matter of opinion... I was OK with AE's braids although CD probably ate a lot of TUMs.
