At this point in time, she is playing better than Boston. She is a joy to watch.
So true, with the way she has developed, it’s actually right on schedule and I know had we been healthy, the title was ours this year for sure. Gonna need some luck to get it this year.

It's possible that Uconn can win the NC. If not, it's as sure as you breathe, that next year belongs to Uconn! With Ice. Paige. Caroline Azzi Aaliyah, Nikia and Aubrey , we will walk away with next year. Possibly undefeated.Aaliyah has come of age and has reached her potential to the MAX. She is a force to be recognized and appreciated by all. GO AALIYAH!! GO HUSKIES!!!

At least Boston and Jones should be gone. That is the one class that got away from us for the most part. We got a better than advertised Aubrey, but missed out on those two prime targets that went to our biggest competitors. Next year we will have a roster made up of four good recruiting years.

Although I could not actually get to the actual story, I find it very interesting that in a thread posted about Aaliyah's current performance (I'm guessing at this point), that it would swerve to posts about other players, next season and other teams. Can we not just stay in the now and appreciate what is happening?
Probably not.

I prefer to say “We will be the front runner for next year’s title. As the old cowboy said, “Ain’t never been a horse that couldn’t be rode, ain’t never been a cowboy who couldn’t be throwed!” Why tempt the basketball gods? Remember, it’s one and done in the tournament! How many people bet on Villanova vs Ewing’s Georgetown juggernaut?
Having said that, our potential lineup next year is otherworldly! I do like our chances, of course, (assuming a healthy roster) but let’s remember that the only thing certain in life is death and taxes!

I agree. Aaliyah is playing some must see basketball this year. From her mid-range game to her attacking the basket. Aaliyah is showing so much growth & improvement. I am happy for her.

I considered those two teams and decided with Boston leaving and Brink leaving, that is a hole SC and Stanford won't be able to fill. We beat Stanford this year and put up a decent showing against SC. Our holes are being filled with the best out there and with Geno's and CD's coaching , if not this year, decidedly next year. Too late for this year, but I can see Uconn's 7 th undefeated season next year with the obvious caveat, barring injuries although with our roster next year I don't believe even injuries will stop us.

I’m a little confused because UConn haven’t played either team this year. And may not play Stanford at all this year

My bad!! I was thinking of last year, senior citizen moment. Time is flying by so fast, I sometimes get the times mixed up. BUT, I still maintain my post to the letter. GO HUSKIES!!!!

Very impressive last night. Not too many players can accomplish a 20/20 game.

I can't recall seeing anyone improve more year to year, than her. AMAZING.

Aaliyah's midrange jumper is her biggest improvement. The form and even SOUND hitting the rim has Fudd written all over it.

Sort of agree. I think her biggest improvement may be her confidence, which in turn, has helped her mid range shot. She just looks like she knows every shot is going in, every time.
