Let's hope the coaches have a good feel for the Precious situation or we may be left holding the bag on lost big men by the time he decides to commit.

We aren't waiting for him to commit. If he does, he does, but We need a center and a guard.

My Tulane boys need some serious help. Can't have them this bad as it hurts the conference, a lot.

Ron Hunter's a good coach. Give hime some time, he'll get them back in the game. Dunleavy aka former Nba was a setback as one would have expected. I'm still amazed Vandy hired Stackhouse.

I just read ECU has 5 juco transfers. Interesting reload.

Tulsa gets another transfer.

Curtis Haywood II: a 6'5 205 guard from Georgia Tech 5.6p/2.7r/2.0a/1.2s in 21.7 mpg. Played HS ball @ Brewster. Will sit out next season.

On the downside, Tulsa loses Curran Scott to Clemson.

Tulane had two transfer commits today:

KJ Lawson from Kansas. Didn't do much last year for Kansas, but played well for Memphis, averaged 12.3/8.1/2.8 over 33.7 mpg. Has to sit this upcoming year, but will likely have two years eligibility. Very nice get for Hunter.

Former URI grad transfer guard Christion Thompson. 6'4 190 averaged 5.7/3.5/1.3a/1.3s over 26.1 mpg. His awful 32.7 FG% last year makes me think he's more of a defensive guard. Like last year, Tulane is sorely needing guards, so he could get a lot of minutes or even start at the 2.

Cincinnati gets an NKU transfer with 7'1 240 center Chris Vogt.

After sitting out a year, he'll have two years of eligibility and went for 4.5p/3.7r/1.2b over 12.9 mpg. Probably won't be more than a backup, but we'll see.

Looks like a very good pickup by all accounts.
Hunter has hit the ground running. Great to see.

Tulane could find their way into the middle of the AAC pack next season.

Averaged 14.3/3.3/1.6 with surprisingly a higher 3P% (39.4% in 6.4 attempts/game) than 2P% (36.4%) and gets to the line well with 4.6 attempts/game at 80.8%. Plug and play two-guard starter for Tulane.

My guess at their starting five: Ona Embo, Thomas, Barrett, Lawson, Sehic with Zhang/Thompson/Koka/Ajang as their key bench guys. Lots of size on that team.

and so it goes..........................

More Tulane news. Caleb Daniels transferring to Villanova. Guy averaged 17/5/3 last season as a sophomore. Good for him.

According to Rothstein, Penn State transfer Rasir Bolton is deciding between Cincy, Colorado State and Iowa State and will decide next week. The 6'2 180 2-guard averaged 11.6 ppg as a freshman for Penn State.

If I'm him and I see a barren backcourt for Cincy and tons of future playing time.
