We officially opened at 5/2 or +250 to win the AAC tournament this week. The other teams with the best odds are as follows...

SMU +165
Cincy +450
Tulsa +650
Memphis +725

Wow, they are clearly putting a lot of faith in the home court advantage.

Let's keep in mind that Vegas makes their lines based on what they think people will bet on. So it may not be directly indicative of what they think UConn's chances are to actually win the tournament, but it's still nice to see.

If this tournament were anywhere but Hartford, we'd have very little chance. But in Hartford? We've already beaten all the teams we'd likely play at the XL Center this year. Why can't we do it again?

There is no value in any of those numbers. Rolling over money line bets would probably pay double.
On UConn, SMU yes for sure, but not close for Temple.

Edit: Actually looking at past lines, yes probably it would with temple too

What do these numbers mean? +250.

FYI this was strictly for informative purposes. If any of you are actually going to bet on us/(god forbid any other team) I would strongly recommend rolling over ML as @whaler11 said.

What casino/sports book in Vegas???? Can Can Room Casino & Sports Book?...just curious. Thanks in advance. That book is really top notch. :)

I use 5dimes, it's an off shore book.

And if the numbers were negative, they would be the amount you'd have to bet in order to win $100.
How does that work? -50 means bet 150 to win 100?

How does that work? -50 means bet 150 to win 100?

-100 = bet 10 to win 10 (10 bet + 10 winnings)
-150 = bet 15 to win 10 (25)
-200 = bet 20 to win 10 (30)

And so on

The numbers are never going to be between 100 and -100, they're always over/equal to 100 or under/equal to -100.
