If we are out of the AAC, I would gladly attend just to feel good even better.

In an effort to keep UConn in the conference?

I wonder why they took it away from Orlando after only 1 year. And that 1 tournament hasn't even been played yet.

Awesome. I enjoyed attending last year.

And no, this has absolutely zero bearing on realignment. Even if UConn was given a B12 invite tomorrow, they would still be in the AAC for at least one more season.

The Hartford Courant is saying the NCAA Tournament games scheduled for Orlando on March 16 and 18 might be a factor in the potential shift of sites.

I'm sure ticket sales have something to do with this too. It will be very hard to garner high attendance without the home team making the finals.

That said my friends and I had a blast last year, so I'm all for it.

The big question is:

Will UConn fans fill the building? Didn't happen last year. Perhaps it was the AAC's fault for that, but who knows. Hopefully round 2 will be different.

UConn fans certainly filled the building for UConn games.

Complete BS. What other major conference plays a conference tournament on a teams home floor (particuarly one that is good) AND no schools are even remotely close to it. Get us out...please.

That would be a nice present for a hopefully lame duck year in the conference.

I certainly loved being courtside for cheap for last year's tournament.

But yeah, if this tournament were held in Cincinnati, I'd be pretty POd. Let's hope we're both out of here soon.

Hopefully. Per Matt Schonvisky, any movement would be for the 2017 football season.
Not that I believe that, but if it were true, those teams would start their BXII season in August 2017, so a March tournament would not be an issue.

Right, which is why the claims of this is evidence that UCF is getting a Big XII invite over UConn at this point are premature at best (or in this case, worst).

Is anyone saying this seriously?
