Whew!

I was more worried about the fan base's food intake potential more than the TV contracts anyway.
Lol you are turning into whaler. Which is fine to me, I like whaler and you. Others will take exception though

As an accountant, I would call "foul" on that statistic. The $3.1 million means nothing until you look at the following. How much of that money was local, and would have been spent in a different CT place anyway; and second: how much of that was actually profit? Very small piece, I would guess.

If they're so worried about the secondary market maybe they should consider lowering prices. Nobody is gonna pay $700 for all sessions... or?

Tissues for what? Getting less than half the fans they estimated?
Last time I checked there wasn't any tears shed because of gang shootings in the north end that weekend. It was a win.

As a beer drinker I can tell you the profit on draft beer is very good.

I'd love to see the actual accounting.

The XL Center exceeded their 'budget'. That's a fun way of saying they didn't sniff making what they projected and that will impact their bottom line negatively at the end of the year.
