Playing UCF & Houston only once.

UConn
Home: UCF, Cincinnati, East Carolina, Memphis, USF, SMU, Temple, Tulane, Tulsa
Away: Cincinnati, East Carolina, Houston, Memphis, USF, SMU, Temple, Tulane, Tulsa

Also, conference championship game has been moved to Sunday afternoon:

As part of its stated desire to rotate the men's championship to various points within its conference footprint, The American announced in April that the XL Center would host the 2015 event. All 11 American Athletic Conference schools will participate in the championship with the format calling for three first-round games Thursday, March 12; followed by four quarterfinal games on March 13; two semifinals on March 14; and the championship game Sunday afternoon, March 15. The entire American Men's Basketball Championship will be available across ESPN's national outlets.

Well it will be interesting if UConn gets an early game on 3/13 and see if there will be enough parking unlike in '98 when people had to park at the Meadows and walk to the Civic Center

Given last season, I'd be much more comfortable with the Houston game at home rather than away...shouldn't be a problem though.

I'd rather 2 games with Houston than EC or Tulane, I know they've lost House & Thomas but Sampson has already added some pretty good talent

They're losing their 2 best players, TaShawn Thomas and Danuel House, to transfer. They'll be terrible next year.

They added a ton of talented guys that every major program passed on because they are complete head cases (like Torian Graham and Ronnie Johnson). I think they'll be decent.

Wife and I are thinking road trip to either New Orleans or Beale Street
Wish they had UCF at Orlando that was a lot of fun this past year with a great
Weekend in Winter Park
Wish EZU was in a better location
Houston and Dallas aren't much to write home about either

Devonte Pollard as well, former McDonalds AA. If Sampson can shape that talent together it wouldn't surprise me if they're better than they were last year because Sampson is miles ahead of Dickey as a coach.

Doesn't Ronnie Johnson have to sit out a year?

And Tulane and Temple. Yippeee!

Side note, who is in charge of emoji's around here? I think we need something like a noose when AAC-related news is posted. and I am sure Fishy would like an emoji getting punched in the throat.

We play in some great cities that will help give players exposure to NBA scouts. Dallas, Memphis, Philly, Tampa, Orlando, Houston and New Orleans.

From a coach's perspective, Sunday afternoon game is not preferred for AAC Championship if you have to play a Thursday game in the NCAA.

One under looked aspect of this years championship season is that the tournament was physically easier on the Huskies. All the road trips and late starting times left the Huskies not only hungry but also tired.

Ugh, Sunday afternoon game... That really sucks. The ACC went out of their way to change their game to Saturday night, and of course the AAC got stuck with Sunday afternoon.

Just when you think life in the AAC can't get any worse...

If you google aac championship tournament 2014 google refuses to believe you really want aac and instead automatically assumes you meant acc...
Unfortunately, the google is very good at the search business.

Amore left off SMU @ home in his article earlier, good to see that we are in fact playing them at home this year.

As long as we're stuck here we'll get Memphis, Cinci, SMU and hopefully a resurgent temple twice a year. Other than that...ugh.

I don't have a problem with the Sunday title game. If it's not Saturday night at MSG it just doesn't mean the same thing.
