UConn men’s soccer was picked to finish 3rd in the preseason AAC poll. The Huskies picked up two first place votes from the league coaches. Jake Nerwinski was selected as the AAC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year. UConn players selected to the AAC Preseason All Conference team were Jake Nerwinski, Kwame Awuah, Simen Olafsen, and Abdou Mbacke Thiam.
