It just keeps flip - flopping back and forth it seems, and comes down to the wire. Just last weekend Bazz returns the favor by outdueling Kilpatrick, and then finishes with 26 points on senior day, Russ Smith also gets 26 points. Then last night Kilpatrick drops 34 on Memphis. I would think if Cincy grabs 1st place then Kilpatrick will get it, but if LVille gets first it will come down to the performance of Bazz vs Smith on Saturday. Anyway, its amazing that these 3 guards (from one conference) are playing so well. They are on everyone's top 10 lists - most clutch, best players, etc ...

So by your logic, if we beat ville, and Cincy wins against rutgirls to take 1st place, the POY goes to Kilpatrick?!?
Sucks for Bazz

Unfortunately this falls just outside of the "what have you done for me lately crowd's" reach, but Bazz dropped 34 on Memphis last month. It's really sad that the POY race can come down to Memphis' road schedule.

Isn't the POY voted by the coaches? If so you would think it is a lot more political. That being said you would think Louisville has the least political capital out of the three.

Reminds me of the close BE POY races of days past. This one is very close, I give Bazz the lead because of all he does. Smith is good to me but not Bazz good.

Kilpatrick scares me and impresses me as well. I have 'little' problem if he wins it, but I do if Smith gets it.

Totally agree ... Russ Smith, Shabazz and Sean Killa have all been terrific. I don't think you can bitch about any of them getting more votes.
