Seems very fair to me. 3 of the top 10 players, in addition to best freshman.

Nothing offensive. I think we are better than they are recognizing but lets let the team go out and make the whole country take notice, not just the AAC!! I want the talk to be how was Uconn overlooked so badly before the season started on a national level! but the guys have to go out and make that happen. We all believe in them, I hope they believe in themselves the same way and go show everyone what they are made of!

He had a convo with Markus Kennedy basically giving him a pep talk... an SMU kid. This is why i like Ollie and ultimately why i think so much good comes his way. He doesnt have to continue to give that kid advice or encourage him, but he still does. He has nothing to gain from that. He's just a good dude he really cares about these kids. Imagine how much more he cares about his own Uconn players. I think the brotherhood and bond he is creating with the groups we've had (and currently have) are priceless. I think this good rep is helping with current recruiting and future recruiting!

Like to listen to Larry Brown he's a good basketball guy. I'm sure many of the coaches love to sit and have a cocktail with him and just talk hoops.

I just don't see Nic Moore winning POY again. One of those Tulsa guards, Hamilton, Gibbs or Purvis, Markus Kennedy, BJ Tyson, Troy Caupain, and Octavius Ellis all have a shot at it. Moore won it in a pretty weak and young American conference last year, and with nothing to play for this year I think someone else takes it in the end. Not to say he wont get even better this year but with his small size and lack of athleticism he may be overshadowed by young studs from last year blossoming into stars this year.

Someone other than us is going to have to beat SMU to knock them off the top spot. In two years they've lost 6 games to teams currently in the AAC and 3 of those losses were to Cincinnati.
