Duh, it was a gag.
Not true in the slightest.
Seems pretty accurate to me.Not true in the slightest.

They are so new, they only have 1 foot in.UCF, Houston, SMU, Memphis, Tulsa, Tulane, Temple, and East Carolina are overjoyed at their new conference.
With the way the top of the star is enlongated and slightly pointing in a direction, you can pretend the star is making an obscene gesture to the schools now in the Big East.Like the second one better. Not sure about that star (thingy) yet. Seems weird.

I agree it looks old, but I thought they did it on purpose, to make the league appear more established and in line with other leagues. Maybe I over thought it.Seriously dislike the font. It looks old and rigid.
The star with the extra-long point looks unbalanced.
The lighter color in the middle of the letters looks very "Hey, look what I did in Word with the Word Art feature!" And a shadow effect? Really?
It looks very 1997.
I'll embrace the conference but the logo? Nope.
