It's pretty decent. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the jacked up star, but the block "A" is good and the blue/black color scheme is good. If I was more invested in the conference, the asymmetric star thing would bother me more than it does now....but I'm not.....so it doesn't....

Bleh. Everything about this conference is so generic. Looks like it just came out of a first year graphic design student brandijg project. Oh, a star!

It's fine.

I just find it hard to get excited, or care, about this conference. Despite it's issues, I had pride in the BE. I rooted for the other teams in the BE and defended it against other conferences. Now....the other teams in the conference are competitors for a spot in a real conference.

Maybe this will change, but right now I have no passion for this conference, it's branding or it's success. I am all about UConn beating the crap out of everone and positioning themselves to move to a better conference.

My first thought was isn't that the old AFC logo? But when I saw the whole thing I don't think it is terrible. Nothing special for sure, but not awful, and surely not as bad as it could have been. Guess Nike didn't do the design...

It's acceptable. What agency made it? Despite early objections, I think the B1G hit a homerun with their logo. Figures, as they got the best in the biz to design it - Pentagram.

Why the hell should we care about this league anyway. Has nothing to do with what we need to do as uconn. The logo means nothing in our chances of climbing out of the gutter. Looks like a mix of a nfl logo and a Dallas star. SMU clearly thinks this is home for a long time.

Some of the previous big east logos were worse. If this league comes out with a commercial of little kids playing nice on a basketball court I'm going to shoot my dog in the left eye.

The only thing that mattered with this conf was getting it to a 9and 9east and west big team mish mash. That was going to allow the best bball and fball possible and the biggest contract. It was also going to freeze out anyone with a undefeated team from a lower conf. It was talked about way before this happened but it needed to. It was how you add 1 of Memphis and Tulane and Tulsa and not all 3. This league is a easy fail. Then we turned around in pissed off mode and scheduled questionably date wise BSU and BYU to OOC games anyway. Just a mess all around.

This logo with this league would have a bit of buzz.
Uconn/Cincy/temple/USF/UCF/navy/Mem/ecu
BSU/BYU//SDSU/UNLV/Fresno/uh/SMU/Tulsa
Plenty of other teams to pick thru but this was the best possible outcome and it failed horribly. This league gets BCS teams crashing the party and is a nice bball league all dam day. Good enough where we can survive until a phone call one day.
