AAC is bad, but check out this Big East idiocy

Let these guys have their circle jerk. Sure, UConn is going to become irrelevant. Sure, the new Big East is going to become a force to be reckoned with. Sure, Fox Sports One will overtake ESPN as the biggest sports network in America.

When do games start, again? I'm getting sick of having this same argument over and over.

I looked at some Big East schedules and I'd say they are just about as weak as AAC. We're in the same boat being left out. People bragging that they are in the new Big East are somewhat delusional

Not worried about UConn's schedule nor UConn's exposure. Both are good. It's the money that kills you.

If you look at UConn's games (Maryland, Florida, Stanford, BC, Indiana, Washington, Harvard, 2x Louisville, 2x Memphis, 2x Cincy, 2x Temple with maybe 2x against SMU being very good) the schedule is plenty tough enough, and it's probably better than any you'll see outside the B1G or ACC. Exposure is great too.

It's the TV money that hurts.

This was pretty good, Pitt's not even on the list, but Marquette, Nova, Gtown and St John's are. (Pitt is ranked 58, PC 66).

BTW, the new Big East has 6 of its 10 teams in the top 50 most successful in last 50 years.

Now you're talking stupid-comparing PC to Pitt! Here are Big East won-lost records in conference. GTown was great at the beginning, UConn was terrible those first ten years. Syr and UConn the last 25 years have been the best teams period. Pitt has more BE championships than all other new BE teams except GTown and has played fewer seasons than GTown. St Johns. PC has a .39 winning pct with ONE title!

By the way, look at UConn's first 4 years in the BE.

Not one losing season. UConn wasn't great, but it certainly wasn't terrible.

People seem to forget that Perno came into the BE with Corny, Aleksinas, McKay, Kuscenski, Bailey and Giscombe. There was some talent there. They played decently, certainly not terrible. And then once the Earl Kelley circus came to town, the team went off the rails.
