AAC games this weekend

I was watching BC-ND and while giving the highlights of the Memphis-UCLA recap the ESPN guys calling the game 3 times referenced UCLA playing in a different time zone as an excuse for their loss to Memphis. People who didn't see the game would think that's the reason Memphis won. They would be wrong.

ECU, at SMU, and Memphis the next 3 weeks for UConn.

Should be a fun month here.

TCU punches it in on a short run to go up 35-22 against SMU! #SMUvsTCU

Plenty of time but it could be getting away from SMU here. QB just getting rushed and passes are sailing. Need to make adjustments. TCU has some athletes on offense and the SMU D starting to spend too much time on a hot field.

And as I say that turnover to SMU - much needed.

..aaaand just heard another announcer, this one on Purdue-Mizzou point out the trauma to UCLA's body clocks today. Do they all get the same memo?

And where the heck is Tulane Oklahoma game?

ECU looked good for about 1 qtr & change. Yikes.
This on the heels of being blown out by WVU and a 1aa team.

If we cannot beat them we wont another game all year.

ECU's given up 600+ yds in each of their 1st 3 games.

As bad as we are, if we don't turn the ball over, we should beat them.

Tulsa/Toledo in a shoot-out 43-36 Tulsa w/ 12 minutes left.

Miami O/Cincy

Cincy fighting back... 17-14 Miami w/ 2:30 left. Miami has ball on ESPN3

WTH - Cincy Pick 6 from 5yd after clock management clown shown by Ohio turning a 3 and 2 into a 3rd and 7 by delay of game w/ a 1:10 left in game. Cincy up 21-17.

Cincy wins 21-17 by the grace of god and colossal (Diaco level) brain fart by Miami Ohio Head Coach.

So the AAC goes 5 for 10 non conference games this week. Tulsa and UConn didn't hold up their end(which would have put the AAC at 7-3 for the week). Tulane(vs #2 Oklahoma), SMU(vs #20 TCU) and ECU(vs #16 VT) shouldn't have been expected to win. USF and especially Memphis shown the brightest this week. Could they be the prohibitive favorites to win their divisions? With Houston & Cincinnati working in new head coaches & staffs there's a good chance come December 3rd the Bulls and Tigers will be the last two standing. But what about Navy?
