In her first start of the season, Collier registered seven rebounds, six points and four steals in a 73-49 win against No. 11/9 Florida State in the Hall of Fame Classic at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday.

WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Morgan Tuck • Sr. • F • UConn • Bolingbrook, Ill.
Produced 19 points per game in wins over Colgate and No. 11/9 Florida State.

She's like a more offensively minded Kelly Faris. Stat sheet stuffer!

She's a ball magnet. Whether it's a rebound, a pass, or a loose ball, it finds its way to Napheesa.

Congratulations Napheesa and Morgan !!

GO HUSKIES !

Nice! You gotta love Napheesa's all-around game - and her motor
Her motor really stands out, and when you're 6'2 and athletic with a high motor you can impact the game in many ways. Geno was quoted as saying that Collier is "sneaky good" what sneaks up on you is the fact that she is as polished offensively as she is, she already has a mid range game which is unusual for a big. Usually that is the last thing to be developed and some never get around to it...

I think she is also sneaky quick. She thieves well for a player her size.

Her mjd range game would be even better if she had used it more in high school Her coach usually had her posting up and shooting from inside. The reason she is as good as she is on defense is that her high school coach had Incarnate Word Academy playing almost exclusively man to man.

Collier rarely missed mid-range shots when I saw her in high school, AAU ball, and with the US team. Maybe early nerves that will settle down eventually.
