I wonder if they are just trying to placate the fans, but actually won't have a designated blogger or lunchlinks, etc.

I'll take it! Even with no dedicated blogger... it's not like Andrea Adelson's BE insight was close to the p5 blogs to begin with.

A step in the right direction IMO. I'll take anything.

There's no blogger, it's currently generic CFB news. Maybe they'll just post ESPN stories related to AAC teams, or are waiting to assign a blogger in the future?

You know, it's an interesting thing, and it's a strange feeling I get, thinking about it, not sure if I like it or not, but my opinion is that whoever gets that blog spot job, is actually a pretty important cog in the media wheel that will keep the AAC rolling. A dynamic, and interesting writer, in that spot at ESPN, that can tap into each media market with contacts and info, can really be beneficial to the league and vice/versa - a dud - and that's a problem.

We need to monitor this situation.

still not seeing it coming to fruition... Why have it on the blog page and not have a link... ESPN is not going to give us what we are asking for... Boneyard has already outstripped both ESPn and COurant in coverage just by average joe citizen. ESPn is a joke for coverage and not worth our time anymore.

The AAC is mentioned along with the other "power conferences" about who's the biggest risers and fallers over the next few years. For some reason, we are mentioned as the "faller" of the AAC....

Finally, some decent news. Not having the wimpy blog felt like an attempt to delegitimize AAC.
