There's a lot of parity in this league, particularly if Cumberland is not able to go for Cincy. However, Tulsa never deserved a 1 seed. They lost by 30 pts at both Houston and Cincy. A conference champion does not lose two games by 30 pts. Those are beat downs. Not to mention there the other two teams right with you. They caught some breaks to be in that spot, but it didn't pass the eye test.

It was hilarious to hear the announcer today go on and on about why he couldn’t believe Tulsa wasn’t making the tournament despite their record in conference. Their schedule was a joke... They’ve been one of the luckiest teams in the country, ranking 20th in luck on Ken pom. They lost by double digits to UT Arlington, lost to Arkansas St, Colorado state, and Kansas St. Then a bunch of conference games by double digits. I’m expecting Memphis to beat them and then lose to Houston. Feels like Houston’s tournament to lose. But you never know what can happen when March rolls around, one game at a time and it starts Thursday...

UCF looked dangerous today, it was ECU but nonetheless if they shoot like that they’ve got a shot at the semis

Only teams I fear are Cincy and Houston. Those are seemingly rock fights not matter what.
Bottom line is we’re gonna need help from other teams, we aren’t gonna be able to roll through 3 of the best teams in the conference. Maybe SMU could challenge Houston or the winner of Memphis/Tulsa could beat them.

UCf and USF could give cincy a run for their money UCf has already beat cincy in their building. Also cincy looked horrible against temple on Saturday escaping that game. So maybe there is a chance we could get a couple upsets along the way. Our focus right now should be one game at a time

In any game this tournament we are either favored or no more than 5 point dogs.

No reason to be anything but quietly confident this weekend!

Would love to not only end Wichita State's AAC tournament run, but if they lose on Friday that could burst their bubble. The way we lost to Wichita State, with Erik Stevenson acting the way he did, I'll be frothing at the mouth to play them!

Yup. My first reaction to the bracket was that Cincy could be in trouble vs USF/UCF.

Hoping Jarlton can step up and bully around Tulane first game. There’s no reason he can’t, he’s double the size of anyone on Tulane. That will hopefully keep everyone fresh and not too tired for the 4 game stretch we have to go on.

Cumberland is really banged up, and they sat him for a stretch last week cause of a quick turnaround. If we play them in the semis, he may be limited playing back to back days. Just a thought.

Carlton needs to give us 25+ very productive minutes against Tulane so Whaley is rather fresh for Wichita

It's interesting with Cumberland as they sat him at Usf last week and Keith Williams goes off for 30 without him in the lineup. My guess is they try Friday to use Cumberland as little as possible as they've won without him.

You have to play and beat good teams to win a tournament.

And the American (to the shock and surprise of Big East groupies) has many good teams. Getting through Wichita, Cinny and Houston in three days would be tough even for Creighton.

No, the American has a few good teams. Which has always been the problem.

We're just lucky there is no super team like Creighton destroying the rest of the conference.

Yup. That would make it harder for us to get a bid if we had a team as good as Creighton in this tournament.

Anyone know how soon after a game the game replays are uploaded on UConn Husky Games?
