you may ask but i don't care to name names. it is more on the player than the program, but lesser programs have different trade offs in terms of personalities they will accept to get more talent.
Fair enough.

are we scared that UConn may not be as good next year so we need Tuck to better our chances... scared to become Tennessee?

I think, in order to get Morgan to stay, we should put her up on the Wall of Honor..... Then, next year, promise her that before all home games, before or after the national anthem, the crowd will celebrate her by having a "moment of reverence" where the assembled masses salute her banner on the wall..... If she will not take that deal, then I propose she be named honorary assistant coach for the entirety of the season.
Your response does not sound logical

i can't imagine a UConn player could be bribed with individual accolades and acknowledgements. Those sound like the kind of things players at certain midwestern or southern schools seek out. UConn players are more into the team.
Bribed is not a good word except to some persons who look at a glass half empty. Incentive is a much better word for accomplishments made to the organization to a valued piece of that organization. The UConn team concept would also include looking at what would help the team next season and the leadership that Tuck provides fits that team concept.
If it fitted your company's team concept they would offer you incentives to stay rather than you going to another place of work. BUT of course, it is always up to her but I am assuming that coaching is in her future so tutelage under Geno is the best option.

She's good enough to be on the Wall of Honor in my opinion. Plus, if UConn wins Tuesday and she plays very well, it's possible she wins MOP at the Final Four, that's got to be good enough to put you up there!

She plans to announce after the game tomorrow.
Good, if she announces tomorrow she will stay.
She would surely not announce tomorrow if leaving. Wouldn't throw out anything negative during a celebration.

Interesting. I was thinking the opposite. Win and go out with her class. I hope you are right lol.

I believe there is a small window to declare for the WNBA draft, which could explain the "announcement" tomorrow.

Uh, twice... yeah, she hasn't done it twice!

CL82- - I didn't post Morgan was named to the WBCA All-American team twice! I said she was named to the AA team earlier yesterday (Sunday April 3rd)! Her 1st AA team making Morgan Tuck eligible to be placed on the UCONN Wall of Honor at a later date!

I do not know if the following scenario has been delineated to Tuck.

Get an MBA from UCONN while playing the 5th year. Then get a Wall Street job or one at a Fortune 500 company. The boosters can help if legal.

In my opinion this should appeal to anybody with a knee/leg etc problem.

Is there anything wrong with this?

I've a better idea. How about 100 BY-er crawling naked across 100 yards of broken glass while pleading. That will be more acceptable to the NCAA than this idea.

Thinking negatively has never entered my mind so the concept of being scared sounds like something I can not dream of. Having someone of Tuck's caliber skill, leadership and knowledge makes us much more stronger. There is no need/reason to be like TN.

Yea, but Tuck's had 4 years.

You, M7, are such a bleeping Wise Acre. ;) But, I have come to join those who say 'I think she moves on.' Delighted if she does not, but resigned if she does.

Agree. Really either way is win/win.

Morgan really has nothing else to prove in college. I just don't see where it would make sense for her to stay, especially since she's going to be placed on the wall now. She can always come back for a Masters.

Nothing to prove - maybe
But to make history with 5 NCs - yes!!!
