Just read The Athletic WCB "expert's" NCAA prediction. Barely a mention of UCONN other than playing at Bridgeport. No mention of any Husky players or how well we are playing with the 9 player rotation. Nope, the "expert" picks another team to come out of Bridgeport and guess what, it's not NCSt . It's, wait for it, wait for it.......................

INDIANA !

Yes the same Indiana that couldn't even win the over-rated Big 10 championship. Hard to believe, but that's what she wrote

The NCAA Tournament is like horse racing’s triple crown or a heavy weight boxing championship fight. People who don’t know anything about the sport climb out of the woodwork and claim to be experts.

This thread got me trying to remember when was the last time a big ten team beat UConn. Does anyone remember? Rutgers and Maryland victories only count if they were in the big ten at the time.

Just without research: I know that Michigan State beat UConn in Hartford during
Mel Thomas' career....seasons from 2004 thru 2008...don't remember which year.

Thank you!

My bracket has Indiana over Kentucky ( a "team" winning over R. Howard's
Kentucky) and UCONN over Indiana. but... one game at a time, yesterday
is gone, tomorrow is unknown, we have only the now moment: today !

Indiana went through a bad patch this season but they are a very talented and well coached team with five players scoring in double digits.........I think UConn would beat them if they are on their game but they certainly shouldn't be taken lightly........

Meanwhile we have 8 players who can easily score in dbl figures, if only they got more minutes. I don't thinks Geno and CD will allow them to look past any team and the 6 players who were on the team last year, certainly learned that lesson against AZ.

Well, all I have to say is let the games begin and we will see what happens.

Yesterday is dead and gone, and tomorrows out of sight--Help us make to the NC, (I know doesn't rhyme with sight!

Charlie, when was the last time Geno let his kids take a game lightly (maybe his last loss??) Arizona, had more firepower. With only Paige doing the heavy lifting, all AZ had to do is knock out Paige and they did it well. That, won't happen again. Caroline, Fudd, Edwards, Dorka, Ono pick your poison. Uconn's offensive system has flaws that are masked by the 5 above.

I was thinking less about the team and more about the poster..............:)
