1. Want to acknowledge those folks who were in the trenches during the fund raising efforts at CPTV over the years; alot of hours were contributed by alot of folks who came out in all kinds of weather to pitch in. A tip of the cap to each and everyone of you who gave of your time.
2. Plus, there is a terrific article in the JI tonight by Matt Buckler. You'll find it in the TV section. He makes a powerful case for the importance of the SNY deal, with partcular regard to the potential massive exporsure for our program, noting that "Our Girls" COULD become analagous to ND football, with a national following. The lynchpin for unlocking this potential, in his view, is to come up with the equivalent of Celtic's broadcaster, Tommy Heinsohn, for an unabashed "homer" who would inject vivid excitementfor and about our program, into the broadcasts. Provocative notion.
