Hopefully, someone who vividly remembers last season's Stanford-Texas A&M game can explain how Stanford lost that game considering that they shot 50%, outrebounded Texas A&M 39-29 and converted 3 more free throws. Texas A&M put up 19 more shots, yet the turnover margin was -10. How were all those extra shots generated. It looks a lot like Shaq getting all those Q's. A total statistical anomaly.

That game was so bizarre. Stanford looked like they had it won a number of times, and then in the final few minutes just fell apart. They couldn't handle TAMU's pressure in the backcourt. Dumb turnovers, rushed shots at the end of the shot clock and key baskets by Adams and White solidified the win.

Statistics can't explain it all!
