I also think that in the aftermath of Williams' mammoth game and Collier's double-double that Lou is not getting enough credit for essentially taking over the game in the fourth quarter. For most of the last 10 minutes, she was calling signals on defense and acting as a defect point guard on offense. For all Collier did on the floor, the game was won while she was on the bench. Lou had great support from the other four, to be sure, but she won the game in the last 10 minutes.

The Huskies outrebounded ND 46-41. Given the size differential in the post, I think we can lay to rest the proposition that size is the be all and end all on rebounding. Positioning and effort have a lot to do with it, too.

Good free throw defense, too. Held 'em to 67% (Is that a first in an ND-UConn game? They're usually lights out from the free throw line)

Nobody can hold there opponents free-throw percentage down. Let Had ND been a tad better in FT, the score at half time might be closer ... that could have an effect on the game in second half.

I'm pretty sure the OP knew that..... Meant to elicit a chuckle.

Nan was being sarcastic/funny with the FT defense post!
