Back in November when this season gingerly got started, I honestly never thought we would get to this point, the eve of the Big Dance. I am delighted we’re here. During a difficult time for all of us, every one of UConn’s 25 games were like another Christmas gift, although I wouldn’t mind returning the one from Fayetteville, AR.

Has there always been a 2 week gap between the Conference playoffs and the NCAA Tourney for the Women? Too long.

Great post, as always, Oldude! I always look forward to reading your responses/threads!
Agreed, 300%. Loved your scorpionfly reference
in Nika the gnat! Luckily for us they do not bite or sting humans!! True?

Yes, although some conferences like the Big12 play their schedule and conference tournament to end a week later.

Agree @oldude but I honestly think they are a better team now due to that game. MUCH better, especially defensively.

LIved in Camden County, GA (Retired Navy) for 7 years. Sand GNATS in GA will eat you ALIVE. We always dreaded baseball season as they were out in force during little league. Come in from a game or practice, wipe the blood off your scalp and hop in the shower.......

Very familiar with those nasty little creatures. I lived in Northeast FL near the beach for many years.
