Yes. It's believed that she may try to leverage her extra year as a way to avoid playing for the WNBA team (Dallas) that is expected to draft her. That seems like a bit much; I expect her to sort things out and move on after this season no matter how UConn eventually does.

Paige needs to go. Staying at UConn longer will not help improve her game any more than it already has. I think Paige is seen as a point guard at the next level and as long as she stays at UConn she will be 2.

Either way, I can hardly wait to see her [PB] at the 3x3 Worlds [FIBA 3X3] as I believe her skills would be showcased best. With CC {Caitlyn Clark as the only non-former UConn athlete}, Stewie, & Pheesa [if 5 on 5 at different times], would be my "Dream Team" as they would really be UNRIVALED.

By definition she already is a pro. As are many others. Just moving on from college is the better way to put it. Only in here case in may mean a cut in overall pay (LOL)

Paige has signed up to play in the unrivaled league in 2026. She will definitely move on to the WNBA no matter who drafts her. She is a first class person and will not stay to avoid the Wings.

I don't think Aubrey has eligibility left. This is her sixth season having arrived the season before Paige. She's so old she played with Crystal, Kyla, Batouly, and Megan, and those players have been gone for a while.

While there are certain rules the NCAA waives on occasion, such as the limitation on players only playing five years, I have never heard of the NCAA waving the 30% rule. I do know of some cases where appeals were made, and they did not grant a waiver.

Could you cite some examples of a successful appeal, where the NCAA agreed to ignore the 30% rule?
