Everything you said or implied in that post was wrong. It was impossible to go over the top in response. Jeff was huge against VCU in that epic NIT game. The rest of his career as a scorer, not so much. You are doubling down on your inaccuracy.
He wasn't an average player by any means, but he had some low post moves. Did you even watch last night? I saw one basket, 2 points, from the blocks. That's it. Olander's hook.
As for what I implied in that post, it still rings true. The freescooters and waquoits of the world would have wanted Calhoun's head for 9-19. Hell, freescooter would be complaining about the ineligibility. Right up until the NIT you and Free would be freaking out about Calhoun's 4-12 BE record even with a more seasoned Tate George, a Cliff Robinson and Phil Gamble playing.
