Tonight, The Sun came back from a 12 point deficit to defeat Minny (with Maya shooting lights out, 38 of her 40 in the 3rd period).

Lindsey Whalen missed a point blank, virtually uncontested layup to force overtime.

A wonderful, entertaining , comeback from a team who has been anything but.

The only downside: our UConn favs were not much in evidence in crunch time.

Seems like a great deal of strong, competitive games this season, with the bottom of the league learning what it takes to win.

No, Maya had 2 points on 1/10 shooting in the first half and the rest came in the second half and OT. It seemed like every shot she took in the second half had a homing device - she was lights out! She started making her shots with just under 7:00 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.
