watch especially as they relate to the team we all know and love. The start of this season following up on the unexpected success of last season has been wonderful. Being introduced to surprising new talent like Amida Brimah has been been really tremendous. But something that has really caught me by surprise(very pleasantly so), especially since there has been so much controversy about the change in league affiliation and because,try as I might, I don't have a clear sense or remembrance of the emotion surrounding the opening of Gampel; I am absolutely stunned by how much I REALLY like the new floor in Gampel. The size of the new mascot,the American Athletic Conference logos, the contrast on wood shading between the bulk of the playing surface and the area around the lane,the blue floor trim with UCONNHUSKIES in several locations in white and,finally, the lustre over the entire surface of the floor. Imo it is nothing less than spectacular; and also, imo, has quantum leaped my enjoyment of the game itself. I wish I could find a ceiling view game action pic to attempt to project the impact.
