Chong, and Banks are the wildcards next year. If they are both productive everyone is playing for second place.

Great stuff!

That coach has his work cut out for himnext year. There were a ton of seniors on the team this year.....plus the talented 8th grader has transferred to Blair Academy in Jersey....the school of junior UConn verbal Sadie Edwards. Wonder if there is a genuine pipeline in Ossining of talented kids coming up?

Thanks Nan for going the extra mile.

Saw her interviewed some where or other. Must have been a link from the BY. She seemed like a great kid. What else for a UConn recruit.

..............."I'm sweet, but deadly. Don't forget that."

Wow is right. Like this kid a lot. I wonder if she will try out for any of the US Basketball teams this summer...

blakeon18: Coach Ricci has seen it all in the last 29 years. After the 2012 season Ossining lost its' second best player, an all state Freshman, whose mom moved the family to Virginia, and Coach Ricci still managed to win the NYS 2013 title...with a little help from you know who. UCONN is getting a quality kid and a Great player. Throughout her high school career she always answered the call and always played her best in the Biggest games.
If she was a me oriented player she would have totally destroyed the NYS girls high school record book and left it in tatters.
Hope to see you all in Beautiful Downtown Bridgeport(LMAO) in 2014.

I spoke briefly with Coach at Bridgeport. He indicated that although life will be different without Saniya, he expects to have a very successful season.

The thing is, Saniya will have the ball in her hands plenty in Geno's offense, whether she's a 1 or a 2.
