I like uconn's chances for being the last team standing in the NCAA tournament. It wasn't so much that weaknesses were exposed tonight. Instead, it was the next level of mental toughness that the team must grasp and embrace that was presented.

They didn't reach that next level when it mattered tonight. I'm not a coach, so I don't know what drills need to be run, let alone what advice needs to be given. But I'm willing to assume Geno, CD, Shea and Melissa do know what to do starting tonight on the ride home and continuing when practice resumes.

The key is staying sharp and situationally aware when they are in one of those rare (for them) close games against one of only a very few teams who equal them in talent.

I will close by saying there are no teams out there with better talent, when teams are considered as a whole.

I agree with the above post...put another way:

Talent - edge UConn

Heart - edge Notre Dame

Luck - edge Notre Dame...had to throw that in there...you know "the luck of the Irish"

ND's guards were much better and as Geno has always said the team with the best guards win.

Both Baylor and ND have much better point guards so it is going to be tough to beat them

Despite the guard superiority we would have won in overtime if we had made only one of the 5 foul shots we miseed.
